Stair work here is hardwood treads. A straight run is priced per tread. You enter the number of treads, and the range uses that count.
A staircase that turns, has winders, or is otherwise complicated still needs Mike to look at it in person. The online tread price is only a starting point for that kind of stair. The site will say the staircase needs a closer look rather than pretend every stair is a straight run.
Treads can be part of a larger floor job or a stair-only job. If the stairs meet a new hardwood floor, the transition between them is priced on its own.
