Mike's Flooring installs hardwood floors for homeowners around Taneytown and for builders and contractors. The work is the new floor: layout, fastening, and the finish details that make the room usable when the job is done.
You can already own the flooring, or Mike can supply solid oak. Labor is priced on its own. Material is added only when Mike supplies it, and the waste allowance applies to that material order, not to the labor.
The online estimate asks for the service, the ZIP code, and the size. It shows a low-to-high range before anyone asks for an email. That range is not a contract and it does not book the calendar. A visit and a measurement set the final price.
What changes the price is the square footage, who supplies the wood, whether carpet or an old hardwood floor has to come up, and how the rooms are laid out. Stairs and transition pieces are priced separately when the job includes them.
The calculator will not invent a number for water damage or for a floor whose size is unknown. Those projects need a closer look. Current installation rates are listed on the pricing page.
